NEW striker Darren Byfield looks set to miss out again tonight when Doncaster Rovers travel to Morecambe as part of their pre-season preparations.
Adam Lockwood is also out with a groin strain and former Celtic defender Steven Pressley is unlikely to be in the squad.

Reports that Rovers are on the brink of signing Pressley seem wide of the mark and the former Scotland international is talking to other clubs before deciding his future.

Manchester City defender Matt Mills remains Rovers number one centre back target and manager Sean O'Driscoll is still trying to tie up a deal following contact with the Premier League club this week.

O'Driscoll has a centre back problem tonight with Gordon Greer still ruled out and youngster Andrew Boyce could partner top prospect Sam Hird at the heart of the Rovers defence.

Jason Price and Sean McDaid will also be missing but most of the squad that played in the 1-1 draw against Scunthorpe United on Saturday will probably feature.

Byfield's debut in a Rovers shirt may now have to wait until Saturday when Doncaster entertain Kevin Keegan and Newcastle United at the Keepmoat (3pm).
