BRITISH title fights are the incentive for Balby's Jason Rushton and Dunscroft's Jamie McDonnell if they can beat top notch opponents in tomorrow night's televised bill at the Barnsley Metrodome.
Rushton defends his Central Area light middleweight crown against unbeaten Leeds southpaw Danny Reynolds and could earn a revenge rematch against British champion Gary Woolcombe if he is triumphant.

McDonnell faces former Commonwealth champion Lee Haskins who has won 16 of his 18 fights and has built a reputation of being a knockout specialist.

If he is victorious he could challenge the winner of the top of the bill contest between Chris Edwards and Andy Bell for the British super flyweight title.

Manager John Rushton said: "I'm quietly confident that both of them can win. Jason is fit enough to fight one hundred rounds and Jamie is totally unfazed by his opponent."

Tickets are still available from Rushton for the fight night and the special coach from Doncaster by ringing (01302) 310919.
