But 70s punk rocker John Lydon, alias Sex Pistols lead singer Johnny Rotten, is not far behind.
And there's a surprise in third place, currently held by 90s pop singer Peter Andre who was almost as well known for his six-pack chest as his singing.
Former athlete Diane Modahl is currently trailing the pack but ex-footballer Neil Ruddock and 80s DJ Mike Read are also struggling to keep up with the pace.
