AROUND 100 youngsters met some slippery characters as an array of exotic animals paid a special visit to a nursery.

Parent Laura Ormandy, of Cantley, won the special visit from Nottinghamshire-based animal experience provider ‘Meet A Creature’ through a Facebook competition.

Laura and her children Sofiya, two, and 18-month-old Kasper and others at the Little Learners nursery at Doncaster School for the Deaf could not stop rattling about the experience after seeing a python, gecko, tree frog, chameleon and tortoise.

Meet A Creature, based at Gringley-on-the-Hill, provides education workhops.
