Market horse is a popular attraction

I’ve just read the article in the Derbyshire Times about plans to retire the Market Horse.

I work on a Saturday market stall, and in my view the Market Horse is a popular attraction in the town centre.

£11,000 is a very small part of the overall Council budget. Small cuts could be made to several different departments to come up with £11,000 savings.

The Market Horse is an unusual feature that helps to keep Chesterfield interesting and attractive to local shoppers and tourists.

Please keep the Market Horse.
