RE the new mayor. We are really pleased that you have found fame, if not fortune, in Doncaster as an English Democrat but we miss you so much! We had such a lot in common and how silly it now seems that we broke up over such a trifling issue as an English parliament.
We can only hope that one day you may decide that our differences are less important than the views we share.
