It was Question Time six times over when Don Valley MP Caroline Flint was quizzed by six different classes at Denaby’s St Albans RC Primary school.

Ms Flint said: “St Albans pupils were great.

“As I entered classrooms, the Question Time theme tune would play and my audience would be ready with questions in hand.

“In one class questions ranged from ‘Do you have any pets?’ to ‘Do you support HS2 and what will it do for the northern economy?’, which I think is pretty advanced for an eight-year-old.

“It was a pleasure to spend a morning in the school and Ms Ayers and all of her staff have created an extremely friendly school.”
