Pubs and clubs are the best bar none

Mayor of Doncaster, Peter Davies, presents the 2013 Doncaster Best Bar None Award to overall winners Cask Corner.

Licensees from across the borough attended the seventh Best Bar None Awards evening at Doncaster Racecourse. More than 400 licensees and guests attended to see Cask Corner in Cleveland Street lift both the overall title and the best pub prize. Best bar was The Courtyard, best leisure venue was the Keepmoat Stadium and Social in Bradford Row picked up the award for best door staff. The Salutation in South Parade picked up the title of best real ale pub. Zinizs in Bawtry was the best venue in the Bawtry area and the Maple Tree in Balby was the best community pub.
