New role for Doncaster consultant

A CONSULTANT surgeon and clinical director at Doncaster and Bassetlaw Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust has been appointed to a key national role advising on the education and development of surgeons in training.

Muhamad Quraishi, affectionately known as Q by colleagues, will sit on the national Joint Committee on Surgical Training’s advisory committee for the training of ear, nose and throat surgeons.

Mr Quraishi is a consultant ear, nose and throat surgeon and the clinical director of all head and neck specialties at Doncaster and Bassetlaw Hospitals. He has a keen interest in the training of surgeons and pioneered a series of masterclasses that have grown into a leading educational programme.
