Helping hand for mums

mums-to-be are being offered free advice at a special one-stop antenatal shop event.

Pregnant women in the Edlington area are invited to come along to the ‘From Pregnancy to Parenthood’ event from 10.30am to noon on Saturday May 26, at the Martinwells Centre, Edlington.

Two further events on the same topic will take place on Saturday June 30 and Saturday July 28.

Health visitor Andrea Ibbeson said: “They will be able to find out more about a range of subjects such as baby brain development, discovering how play can enhance early life learning, baby massage, breastfeeding, and other practical and emotional support.

“In addition, this session will include advice on maintaining a healthy diet, along with dental care during pregnancy.
