Police tape
DRUGS worth £95,000 have been found at a house in Hexthorpe.
Police swooped on the property in Hexthorpe Road where 316 cannabis plants with a street value of £94,800 were recovered from a number of rooms in the house.
The plants were destroyed and drugs paraphenalia and growing equipment removed following Monday’s raid.
Detective Inspector Steve Leach said: “Drugs have an impact on the lives of residents and the local community and the removal of such a large quantity of drugs will hopefully improve the quality of life for them.”
