Clay Lane kids’ club starts up

BORED youngsters in a suburb of Doncaster are being given the chance to keep active with a youth club packed with entertainment.

The Beak Children’s Centre is hosting a youth club at Clay Lane Community Shop, Clay Lane, with the first session taking place from today from 4.15pm to 6pm.

Aimed at Key Stage 2 pupils aged seven to 11, the Livingstone Avenue Sure Start Children’s Centre will offer activities such as games, arts and crafts and cookery to keep children busy after school.

Children must be dropped off and collected for sessions by a responsible adult, aged 16 or above. The venue also stages a wide variety of other community activities.

Further details are available from The Beak, which is based at Graham Road, Kirk Sandall, on 01302 892000.
