Car overturns in West Butterwick
Crews from both the Epworth and Scunthorpe fire stations attended the incident which took place between Derrythorpe and Beltoft, near to Drury’s Farm.
A red Landrover Freelander was involved in the crash which happened shortly after 7.10am last Friday, January 27.
It is understood that the female driver was able to release herself and was taken home with minor injuries, prior to the arrival of emergency crews.
No action was taken by the crews and the vehicle was left at the scene at the request of the police.
A Humberside Police spokesman said icy road conditions may have contributed to the accident and investigations were continuing into the cause of the acccident.
