Construction students from Doncaster College got some hands on experience thanks to a visit to a major local regeneration scheme.

Lovell took a dozen students, aged between 16 and 30, working towards the BTEC Level 3 Diploma qualification in Construction and the Built Environment on a guided site tour of the Six Streets development in Hyde Park.

The group are also being offered work experience placements at the scheme where Lovell, working with Doncaster Council, is creating 123 new homes for rent, sale and shared ownership. The visit was the third time the students had toured the scheme.
