Author drops in to share her skills

Arty pupils got creative when an author and illustrator dropped by to share her skills.

Liz Million has forged a successful career as a writer of children’s picture books, and the mum of one has had a number of books pubplished.

When she’s not writing, Liz,37, who is based in Darlington, County Durham, travels the country giving talks and holding workshops in schools for children of primary school through to secondary school age.

Liz was at Armthorpe Academy to help year seven boys with their art projects in a visit organised by librarian Lesley Hurworth.
