BLUEBELL Wood Children's Hospice is hoping to make kids eyes light up after receiving a £10,000 donation from the National Grid
The charity took receipt of the bumper sum from the National Grid in Doncaster after local employees won the Chairman's Award for their contribution to safety, health and the environment.

Andy Moseley from Cusworth, who nominated the charity for the award, said: "It's a good charity and I would like the money to go to buying equipment and giving the children a good time. I'm absolutely elated to be giving the money to them."

The hospice, based in Dinnington, is now nearing completion but still needs funds to buy essential equipment.
