A WEBSITE that helps customers find reputable business in Doncaster has been launched.
Nearly 11,000 businesses in the borough have been listed on The Brownbook, which allows anyone to update company information or review firms.

The website is aimed at small and medium sized firms which could face delays and costs in getting their company listed in large business directories.

Jerry Brown, co-founder of Brownbook said: "We're launching in Doncaster with 10,928 businesses of every type already listed - that's around 95 per cent of all businesses in Doncaster.

"By encouraging existing customers to add positive reviews, businesses owners can use The Brownbook to build their local reputation and win new customers."

The service is free for customers and for businesses.

Companies can subscribe to alerts about their firm for £5 a year and photographs or videos for £1 each for a year.
