Garage door company opens up for customers

A HUSBAND and wife team have officially launched their new garage door showroom - believed to be the first of its type in South Yorkshire.
Trevor and Miriam Shores, owners of Danum Garage Doors Ltd, have opened a new showroom at Wheatley Trade and Business Park that features garage doors which have already been fitted so customers can visualise how they will look on their own garages.
The couple's first customer was the borough's civic mayor, Coun Tony Sockett, who not only performed the official opening but also purchased a new door.
Mr and Mrs Shores, who live in Cantley and are both 56, set up Danum Garage Doors last year, after they left a garage door company in the borough.
Mrs Shores said: "For the first time people in Doncaster can visualise just exactly how their new garage door might look in situ.
"It is the first of its kind in South Yorkshire."
