Firm named as one of the best employers

A DONCASTER firm has been named as one of the best companies to work for.
Eland Cables came 81st in the Sunday Times Top 100 Best Small Companies to Work For list.

It was the second year running the company has been named in the awards.
The firm was established in 1975 and supplies electrical cables and accessories to industries including the rail sector.

It employs around 50 people at its distribution centre on the Denaby Lane Industrial Estate, Denaby Main, as well as 50 at its London office.

The firm had to meet eight criteria to be eligible for the list which included leadership, wellbeing, giving something back, personal growth and how proud employees were to work for the company.

The awards were the fifth organised by the Sunday Times and saw a record 513 entrants.
