Fancy dress shop opens its doors

A SHOP once used as a location in comedy classic Open All Hours is now home to a new business.
Alias Fancy Dress has opened in the Market Place, Tickhill.

The fancy dress and party hire business was launched by former bank worker Claire Reeves at her home at the beginning of the year.

The premises used to be a ladies boutique as well as a men's clothing shop and were also used as a setting in an episode of the BBC televisision hit Open All Hours which was filmed in Doncaster and stared Ronnie Barker

In the programme David Jason's character Granville visited the shop to hire a wedding suit.

Claire 28 said: "I am very excited and a little nervous about opening the shop."
