A Doncaster Youth Choir open to singers aged from 11 to 21 is to be launched.
The project is being led by Doncaster-based voice coaches Paul and Deborah Mellors who are already behind the award-winning Rainbow Connection Choir.

Would-be singers - especially boys - are urged to sign up for a workshop with a view to joining the youth choir.

The aim is to create a 60-strong singing group to take part in competitions, festivals and concerts. Weekly rehearsals would be held on Friday evenings in Doncaster. For details contact the Mellors on 0845 0099124.
