GAINSBOROUGH'S The Sands Venue is offering a great weekend of music on Friday and Saturday, 3rd and 4th July.
On Friday Soul and Motown group Mission Blue will be performing at the Lord Street venue.
Originally formed in 1997, Mission Blue have established themselves as one of the UK's top Motown tribute bands.
Described by BBC Worldwide as a "brilliant, energy packed and very classy show," Mission Blue will be perfoming songs made famous by The Four Tops, Supremes, Barry White, Aretha Franklin, Luther Van Dross, Chaka Khan, Tina Turner plus other Soul and Motown classics.
Tickets for this show are £15.
Then on Saturday 4th July Lost In Music features the best of the Grease songs and music along with other material from the era.
The whole band is fully costumed for both of the performances of 1950s rock 'n' roll and Grease tracks.
Lost In Music have been playing this show all over the country since 1995 and it really shows in their great performances.
Between them the band have played with and supported the likes of Robbie Williams, Hot Chocolate, E17, Boy George, Cast, Sash, Beverley Craven, Odyssey, Steps, Showaddywaddy and many others, and have performed at hundreds of prestigious venues all over the world.
