HUNDREDS of Denaby Main residents queued from 7am to pick up opening day offers at the new Netto supermarket on Hill Top Road.
The new store, which replaces the chain's store on Doncaster Road, was officially opened by the store's very first customer Dolly Haywood, store manager Alan Bush and operations director, Paul Newby.

Fifteen staff from the previous store relocated to the 10,000 square foot modern and spacious supermarket.

Commenting on the new store, first customer Dolly said: "This new Netto is great news for Denaby Main. It's really convenient for me so I'll definitely be shopping here every week.

Mr Bush added: "The response from shoppers has been absolutely amazing. I was thrilled to see so many people queuing so early."
