FIREFIGHTERS extinguished a fire in a rubbish bin on Wadworth Road, Denaby Main, on Tuesday.The fire at 8.23pm was started deliberately.
A PLANNING application has been made to Doncaster Council to build eight apartments on approximately 0.05ha of land following demolition of existing buildings on the former Castle Mill, Castle Terrace, Conisbrough.

FIREFIGHTERS tackled a series of small fires which were deliberately started on Highwoods Crescent, Mexbrough; Carlisle Street, Kilnhurst and School Street, Thurnscoe, on Monday evening between 7.10-9.47pm.

ORANGE PCS Ltd have submitted a planning appliction to Doncaster Council for the installation of a 10m high mock telegraph pole with antenna and associated equipment cabinet on land at the junction of Hirst Lane and Derwent Road, Mexborough.

DEARNE Area Forum meets on Monday at Central Hall, Houghton Road, Thurnscoe. Among the items on the agenda are policing and roads, and there will be a public question and answer session where Dearne folk can raise their concerns. The meeting starts at 6pm.
