THIS week we report on ambitious plans to create a specialist training centre for deep sea diving enthusiasts in Kilnhurst.
On first glance it may appear to be of limited specialist interest - but in fact these plans could prove a big boost to the whole area.
Because such centres are so rare, it is likely to bring divers to the Dearne from around the country - and that can only be good for our economy.
